Bogusław Dobrowolski is a contemporary award-winning Polish artist. He is active in the areas of ceramics, painting and sculpture. In his ceramic works he combines the issues of sculpture, painting and printmaking. His ceramic forms, bowls and jugs often take on abstract or organic shapes, in which color and texture play an important role. The created objects are also portraits, human figures and animal figures transformed by his imagination. The inner need for harmony provokes the artist to pay attention to detail in accordance with the principles of ceramic craftsmanship.

Bogusław Dobrowolski was born in 1962, in Poland, where he graduated from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. He exhibited his works nationally and won numerous awards: Award of the President of Kielce in the 24th "Early Spring" Competition (2001), Award of the President of Radom (2015, on the occasion of 25 years of creative work), Distinguished Activist for Culture (2001), Distinguished Activist to Polish Culture (2011), Silver Medal for Long Service (2015).
