INSPIRATION - THE UNISM OF WLADYSLAW STRZEMINSKI New photography, I mean digital photography, offers completely new possibilities of working on the so-called layers. The layers can interpenetrate so that their sum constitutes the final image. While maintaining the characteristics inherent in the aesthetics of unism, a new element can be introduced, namely the recognition of certain elements of the image. A good setting of transparency of individual layers gives completely new possibilities of creation, which is not possible with the use of traditional graphic techniques or easel painting. The introduction to the unistic techniques of the element I call the recognition of the subject, or some elements of the image, leads to the establishment of a "Reference Point" that changes the viewer's perception. The possibility of identifying the presented object, while maintaining all the features of unistic aesthetics, also leads to a change of the point of reference. Observer. And so, new digital photography has opened up new categories. Traditional landscape photography appears in this light as photocopies of the landscape. The possibility of reproducing perfect proportions as well as the unimaginable amount of details provided by the photographic technique create completely new instruments. In this context, there are actually no significant limitations beyond the artist's imagination. Recalling the excellent saying of the pre-war photographer Jan Bulchak "nature itself is never as beautiful as its reflection in the human soul" I am deeply convinced that this is the right way
