Julie is a self taught artist from the west coast of Ireland. Having studied languages and having lived all over the world, she had to return to Ireland to run the family business as her father had cancer. She still runs this business now and can only make art in her spare time but this is her real passion. Being back in her little hometown she began to indulge her artistic curiosity. Using an array of mediums from resin to ink to acrylic, her work is an eclectic mix of textures, themes and styles. Living beside the sea she takes great inspiration from the Atlantic ocean which can be seen in a lot of her artworks. The dream would be to make art full time.
