This work is perhaps the most personal of all my paintings. These are my thoughts on the topic of pregnancy. I started it when my husband and I were thinking about children. Do I need it? What do I want to get out of this experience? Am I giving up my freedom? Will I still have the desire to draw? Can I just take it and radically change my life? But, a couple of days after I started working on the picture, I found out that I was pregnant. And these fears and doubts were put on a piece of paper. The work turned out great. I worked on it for a very long time and when you look at it, it's clear. A lot of layers, a lot of small details, a lot. This is my confession.
The art work is made in a mixed technique. On paper, under-painting with acrylic paints. The details are worked out with watercolor and colored pencils, ballpoint pen.
I love to combine different materials in my work. After all, it is not always possible to get the desired result by using only one material. I often mix materials in my works, I like such experiments. This is how interesting combinations of textures and textures are born, which you can look at for a long time. This is a real pleasure for the eyes.
